Important Installation Information
Some products sold by Caravan Society require installation by a licensed and suitably qualified installer in accordance with:
- Manufacturer instructions
- Australian Standards
- State and territory regulations
These products may include, but are not limited to, diesel heaters, gas appliances, air conditioning units, hot water systems, awnings, doors, and electrical or plumbing-related products.
Customer Responsibility
By purchasing products that require professional installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Installation must be completed by a licensed installer where required
- Caravan Society does not provide installation services unless expressly stated
- All installation, compliance, and certification obligations rest with the customer
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Caravan Society is not responsible for:
- Incorrect or non-compliant installation
- Damage to property, vehicles, or equipment caused by installation
- Personal injury resulting from installation or misuse
- Product failure caused by improper installation
- Voided manufacturer warranties due to non-compliant installation
Caravan Society’s responsibility is limited to the supply of the product in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty & Compliance
Many manufacturers require proof of professional installation for warranty claims. Failure to provide suitable documentation may result in warranty being void.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing products from Caravan Society, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these installation and compliance responsibilities.
