The Thule 5200 12V Awning 4.0m Mystic Grey Black Cassette is equipped with a 12V DC motor that extends and retracts the awning smoothly through a simple one-touch switch. A manual override is built in to ensure operation remains possible if electrical power is unavailable. Despite the motor integration, the awning gains only 1 kg in weight and 3 cm in cassette length over the manual version, preserving its streamlined form and low profile.

The canopy is produced from a single welded sheet of Mystic Grey fabric, offering high levels of water resistance and abrasion durability. Reinforced spring arms with integrated tension arms maintain exceptional canopy tension across the full 4.0-metre span, improving wind performance and extending fabric life. The generous 2.5-metre projection provides a wide shaded area ideal for dining setups, recreation zones or sheltered storage during extended touring.
